I hope this message finds everyone well. I would like to extend an invitation to this year’s Memorial Day Ceremony at the old Durham Elementary School on May 31st at 11:00AM. Members of the local American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Oak Hill Fire Company, Durham Ambulance, Durham P.D. and others will be in attendance to show gratitude and support for all of the men and women who served in our Military Forces to protect our freedoms, and gave their lives to defend our Country. Please join us to pay your respects.
The ceremony will be held on the front lawn. A wreath, donated by the Durham Task Force will be presented and displayed in front of the monument.
Again, I encourage all who are able to please join us. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
At the last board meeting the Town Board was informed that any residents of Durham who are homebound, or unable to get to a Covid vaccination site, could be eligible to have EMS staff administer a vaccination to the resident in their own home. Below is a link for the Greene County Vaccination Request Form. Click on the link below. Fill out the form, make sure to change the homebound question from no to yes, hit register and someone from the County will contact you and set up an appointment.
